The accreditation of all CME and CPD activities is performed on-line from our website accessible through the "Accreditation Services" button.
The application process consists of 5 parts:
1. Organiser details - Contains information on the CME Provider (Scientific or Academic Institution) / EU-ACME member
Please keep your secured User ID and Password to submit all your programmes.
2. Activity details - Contains description of the CME activity
3. List of participating relations – Contains the list of persons taking part in organising committee, scientific comittee and speakers: can be attached electronically to the application form or sent by email to the EU-ACME office.
4. Complementary documents: can be attached electronically to the application form or sent by email to the EU-ACME office.
- Events scientific programme (detailing sessions timing, breaks, topic discussed, speaker name)
- Faculty list (in word or excel format)
- Copy of the article / certificate (only EU-ACME members)

5. Additional questions/information.
European Accreditation - Administrative costs and accreditation fee
The application fee is divided into two separate stages: Administrative Costs and Accreditation Fee.
Administrative costs must be paid upon submitting the application form and amount to € 50 per event.
National Urological Associations which joined the EU-ACME programme will not be charged with the administration fee.
Accreditation fees, calculated prorata the expected number of participants (on the basis of € 1 per participant), are charged to applicants whose event has been accredited by EBU and submitted to the UEMS clearing house system (EACCME) for European endorsement.
The EACCME applies the following fees for European accreditation:
Up till 50 participants: 150 €
51 – 250 participants: 300 €
251 – 500 participants: 600 €
501 – 1,000 participants: 900 €
1,001 – 2,000 participants: 1200 €
2,001 – 5,000 participants: 1500 €
more than 5,000 participants: 3000 €
Additionally, EACCME (European Accreditation Council for CME) charges € 50,00 fee for its clearing house activities.
A flat fee of €200 is charged by the EBU for other educational products such as CD-Roms, educational articles etc.
Duration
The review and accreditation process takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks. We recommend applying as soon as all required information is available. Please note that incomplete information given will delay the review of your application.
